Mac Software Center
The Software Center is a where you can go to download and install Troy Approved applications.
it provides customized content for University Macs. This content includes access to university approved software. Software Center gives the department or college the flexibility of choosing what to install and when to install it.
Software Center is managed and maintained by Troy IT department. If you would like to see something added, please submit a request through the helpdesk.
The software center is accessible via Spotlight Search.
Here's how to use Spotlight:
- Open Spotlight: Press Command + Spacebar or click the magnifying glass icon at the top right hand corner of the screen.
- Type your search: Enter the name of the program or application you're looking for (This case Software Center).
- Select from the results: Spotlight will display a list of matching items. Select the program you want to open.
(Note: If Software Center does not appear for you, please submit a helpdesk ticket or call (334-670-HELP.)
Once in the software center, you should be able to install the desired programs.
