Admin By Request to Reset WiFi Settings

Summary

This will assist you if you have the AdminByRequest in resetting the problematic settings preventing you from getting to the Internet after taking your University Laptop home or away from campus.

Body

Click on the ^ carat to expand the open applications:

Right click on the icon that looks like the one circled in Red:

Now, select Tools and Reset DNS to DHCP as illustrated below:

You should now see this screen and will click “Yes”:

That will open a Powershell windows such as this:

Once it completes, it will disappear and you should now be ready to try getting to the Internet again.  If this does not work, please open a Helpdesk ticket at Helpdesk
