Users will need to be connected to a Troy University Network when attempting this!

On the Mac:

     Open Finder

          Open Applications

               Open Utilities

                    Find Terminal and open it.

Run the following command:

Sudo bash “Applications/SafeConnect.app/Contents/MacOS/Uninstall.sh”

Type in your password you use to log into the Mac computer.

You should see the following:

     Terminating Client

Warning:  Expecting a LaunchDaemons path since the command was run as root.  Got LaunchAgents instead.

‘launchctl bootout’ is a recommended alternative.

     Unload failed:  5:  Input/output error

Try running ‘launchctl bootout’ as root for richer errors.

     Invoking service with uninstall flag

     Removing SafeConnect.app

     Disabling scManagerD

     Done.

Reboot the Mac.  Once this is done, click the link below to download the latest version of the Mac Policy Key software and install on your Mac.  (Make sure you are connected to a Troy University network when clicking the below link.)
