The Dashboard is your central hub for managing courses and tracking important updates. You can switch to the new customizable Dashboard view and personalize it by adding, rearranging, or deleting widgets. You can also access information through key widgets such as Course work, Course grades, Announcements, and People.
Notes:
- The customized dashboard is only supported for users with a student-only role. Users with both student and non-student roles do not see this feature.

In Global Navigation, click the Dashboard link.
Open New Dashboard View
Click the Switch to new dashboard view button.
View Customizable Dashboard
By default, the Dashboard tab displays [1] with the following widgets:
- Course work [2]:Displays the number of assignments that are Due, Missing, or Submitted. You can filter the results by course or submission status [3].
- Course grades [4]: Shows only course cards for easy navigation. You can hide or show all grades [5] or individual course grades [6], view the course Grades page [7], or go to the course [8].
- Announcements [9]: Displays new announcements. You can filter announcements by Read, Unread, or All status [10].
- People [11]: Allows you to filter users by course or role [12] and send Inbox messages [13].
To view your courses, click the Courses tab [14].
To switch back to the classic dashboard view, click the Switch to old dashboard view button [15].
To provide feedback on the new dashboard view, click the Let us know! link [16].
Customize Dashboard
Click the Customize dashboard button.
To add a widget in your preferred section, click the Add widget button.
