Greek Life
The Greek system at Troy has been established to assist students in the achievement of their educational aims. Fraternities and sororities enable students to broaden themselves intellectually and socially by working with people of diverse backgrounds dedicated to common goals. These groups offer many experiences to assist the individual in obtaining an education as well as the opportunity to develop leadership and responsibility.
Membership selection is accomplished through a system called "rush". The Interfraternity Council and the Panhellenic Council send a booklet to entering students during the summer which contains information concerning membership selection and eligibility. You may also contact the Office of Student Involvement, Trojan Center 215, for more information.
The Greek Life at Troy University web page offers more information about Greek Life at Troy University as well as specific information about each fraternity and sorority.
