The amount of financial aid a student can receive is determined by their Expected Family Contribution (EFC), and this includes any scholarship money.
Once you have submitted your FAFSA and it has been processed, you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR). Your SAR will contain your EFC. Your EFC is used to determine your eligibility for federal student aid.
