What do I do if I get the error message “unable to retrieve programs” or “unable to load course plan”?

The first thing you'll need to do if you get this error message is log out of Self-Service and close the browser. Pull up a new browser and go back into Student Planning. This message often appears if you have been in the system too long and it has timed you out. If this does not correct the issue, submit a helpdesk ticket under the student planning queue with your ID number and you will be contacted.
