Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

TROY’s two-factor authentication adds a second layer of security to your TROY accounts. It requires two factors to verify identity. These factors include something you know – your username and password, and something you have – a phone or passcode, to authenticate and gain access to an account. Passwords alone no longer provide adequate protection against cyber-attacks.

2FA is required for access to all systems that contain or transport sensitive information.  Please note that you should continue to use best security practices when handling or processing sensitive data – 2FA is not an opportunity to avoid encryption and proper data handling and storage practices.

If you are having trouble with 2FA please submit a helpdesk ticket here.
