How do I turn on Microsoft Windows Automatic Update?

Open the Security Center control panel (Start --> Control Panels --> System and Security)

1. Find “Windows Updates”
2. Click on "Turn automatic updating on or off"
3. Ensure "Install updates automatically" is selected from the drop down menu.  Along with "Every day" and a time is set.
4. Click the OK button to save the settings.
