Loan Entrance Counseling and Master Promissory Note (MPN)
Upon receipt of the financial aid award letter, all new and continuing federal loan borrowers must complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) for the Federal Direct Student Loan Program. Your loan is not guaranteed until a MPN is completed.
This sequence must be followed: the student must return the signed award letter, Troy University certifies the loan, and the student must complete a MPN and Entrance Counseling.
