When attempting to open a Microsoft file from a shared drived, I get an error with the following: "the file is corrupt and cannot be opened", how do I fix this?
For Excel Try the following steps:
Open Excel.
Click on File > Options.
Select Trust Center > Trust center settings.
Select Protected view.
Uncheck all the options under Protected View > OK.
Restart Excel and try to open Excel documents.
For Word Try the following steps:
Open Word.
Click on File > Options.
Select Trust Center > Trust center settings.
Select Protected view.
Uncheck all the options under Protected View > OK.
Restart Word and try to open Word documents.
